I’m a NY based, Colombian-American female who has overcome some major hair problems.

 

My family comes from a country where there’s a natural remedy for just about everything.

 

Though as an American, with a tendency to purchase products that were easily accessible to me and guilty of falling into trends, I damaged my hair so extensively that I ended up with severe hair loss and self-inflicted hair cuts from my hair breaking up to my shoulders naturally.

 

As a Latina, bad hair wasn’t an option. I went back to abuelitas (grandma’s) hair recipes and spent the past three years studying the effects of fresh fruits and extracts on different hair types.
